We then travel to Derry (Londonderry), the walled City where our tour guide will tell you all about the city’s history and its place today. Once we finish the tour we move on to Letterkenny and our hotel for the night where dinner is provided.

We will walk part of the famine walk from Westport to Delphi in Doo Lough Valley. As we travel through Connemara, we’ll stop and visit Kylemore Abbey. From there we work our way south into Galway passing through towns and villages before arriving in Galway City. We will proceed on a coach tour of the city before painting the town red with plenty of restaurants, bars which serve a good standard of food, wine, and beer. There will be music galore. Some people may prefer to have dinner in the hotel and then walk from pub to pub enjoying the craic.

Day 6 - Galway To Dublin

Rock of Cashel attractions.

Our last day in the country side and two great attractions are on the cards today. The first of these is the Rock of Cashel. In Ireland this is one of the most historic sites home to the Kings of Munster. It is only rivalled by the Hill of Tara. There is plenty to see and do on grounds and after our visit we move onto Kilkenny City known as the Marble City. It includes a fine Anglo-Norman castle which was in the same family for 600 years. There’ll be time for some shopping before we make our way back to Dublin.

Day 7 - Dublin City Tour

Dublin river exploration.

Here we have the best of Dublin from both north and south of the river Liffey. This includes Phoenix Park, O Connell Street, Parnell Square, Government Buildings, the G.P.O., Trinity College, and much more. Tonight we have a gala dinner at the close of the tour where you can enjoy plenty to eat and drink. Your guide will ensure everything is in place for onward travel home, or on to a new destination on your vacation.
