Our group of 6 spent 8 amazing days in Ireland on a small group tour completed planned and organized by MCT Irish Tours. If you are looking for a well planned and organized trip to a country you’ve never been or a trip where all the details are covered, offering you a trip filled lots of fun and no stress, allowing you to visit places you missed on a past trip….this tour company will fit the bill!!

Michael “Mike” Cowell is the owner of the tour company and also acted as our driver and guide during our time in the country. The tour was planned by Caroline Murray along with Michael. During our travels along the beautiful Irish countryside, Mick educated us on the rich Irish heritage and history. In Kilkenny we met up with Caroline for a hurling demonstration led by James, a hurling athlete. Another day we spent some time with a young man who demonstrated herding sheep with a young Border Collie he trained.

Our accommodations included beautiful hotels and castles, all pre-arranged by MCT Irish Tours. This trip was second to none! We visited a pottery factory, rode a ferry, saw the Cliffs of Moher, spent time at Trinity College, visited Powerscourt House and Gardens and many, many other things. While we had a busy itinerary, our group never felt rushed or stressed. We would wind down each evening in a pub laughing and recapping the adventures of our day.

This trip was exceptional, but was made even more exceptional by Mick and Caroline!! I can’t recommend MCT Irish Tours enough.
