Midlands of Ireland tour and overnight stay in Cobh
A full day of touring sees us working our way down through the midlands of Ireland. There is plenty to see and do throughout the day and stops along the way include the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens, Rock of Cashel, Cobh (Titanic Experience) and an overnight stay in Cobh.

We’ll also see the remains of the Hermitage of St. Finbarr’s, the patron saint of Cork. From Cork we travel to Kenmare using the tunnel road over the Caha pass, in the County of Kerry. There will be a short stop before we travel on to Molls Gap, Lady’s View, and Muckcross House and Gardens in Killarney. Day 3
Dingle to Killarney
Fishing village experience and Kerry sightseeing
Day 3 sees us touring around the picturesque ring of Dingle and Slea Head with lunch in the fishing village of Dingle. Most of today is spent on the coach taking in the sights Kerry has to offer. After all this travel, you’ll enjoy a night off and a well-deserved rest again in Killarney with dinner provided in the hotel.

Leaving Belfast, we take the Antrim coast and its beautiful scenic drive to the majestic Dunluce Castle. From there we travel to the Giants Causeway. Day 3 concludes with a return journey to Dublin which includes a number of comfort stops along the way.
Aerial view of Dunquin Harbour in County Kerry.
Day 4
Killarney to Galway
Adare walk, Cliff sightseeing and hotel lunch
Our first stop of the day is Adare where we will have a break and a walk around the village to look at the thatched cottages. From here it is on to the Cliffs of Moher, for our second visit of the day. The spectacular Cliffs rise to 800 feet above sea level. Today we will have lunch in Fitzpatrick’s Hotel in Doolin which is the home of Irish traditional music. Fitzpatrick’s Hotel has a great food menu combined with excellent service so we won’t lose time. After lunch we travel to the Burren where we have a photo stop or two on the way to Galway City. This is the city to party in, so join me on a busman’s holiday, as we visit pubs, clubs, and restaurants. We will stay overnight in Galway.
Day 5
Galway to Dublin
Clonmacnoise visit
The following morning we will visit Clonmacnoise. From old Ireland, Clonmacnoise was famed for its artistic activity and enjoyed the patronage of successive Kings. This dynamic religious centre also helped to earn Ireland the name of the land of saints and scholars. Clonmacnoise like everywhere in Ireland fell to the Danes and the Anglo-Normans from 830 – 1165. However, an effort was made to restore the Cathedral around 1647 but was undone by Cromwell’s Army as he swept across Ireland after this. A lunch stop in Athlone and it is on to your Dublin Hotel. Dine at your leisure in Dublin and your guide will assist in transfers to the airport or to anywhere else you wish to go.
