Michael’s Journey
Michael Cowell is the founder and owner of MCT Irish Tours. Michael is a National Tour Guide and Tour Coach Driver. Touring Ireland is second nature to him and he garners immense pleasure from it, as is evident in the glowing reviews he has received.
Michael has worked in the hospitality industry since leaving school, starting as a barman before working up to charge-hand and key holder. He left Ireland and toured the world with the cruise industry. His career took him from Cape Canaveral to Nassau in the Bahamas.
He later worked on cruise ships in Europe, Brazil, Argentina, and travelled the world twice on the QE2.
Since his return to Ireland, Michael has been working in the tour industry and holds a National Tour Badge. His luxury escorted tours of Ireland are all individually tailored and specialised.
